After being exposed for secretly meeting former minister of Agriculture and demanding from him K 10 million to organise a presser which would later call upon Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to probe Vice President Saulos Chilima, Ministers Nankhumwa and Henry Mussa .
Pressure has forced one activist Robert Mkwezalamba to turn the offer from Chaponda and took to facebook to distance himself from the evil intentions which were aimed at mudsliding Vice President Chilima and the two cabinet ministers in Mutharika administration which are being suspected to be behind the fall of Chaponda by the faction of the fallen Agriculture Minister.
According to our earlier reports, a team comprising of CSO agents and Nyasatimes reporter Alfred Chauwa was assembled to be smearing the three as a way of revenging the fall of Chaponda, who is reportedly convinced that his fall was planned by Nankhumwa to take up his position of leader of the house in parliament, Henry Mussa who is said to be earmarked for the current position of Vice President for DPP in southern region and Chilima who is regarded as rival by Chaponda camp for the DPP succession.
Few days ago, the team was given K 2.2 million for PR and yesterday an offer for K 1.6 million was turned down by CSO agents who demanded k 10 million from Chaponda from a meeting they had at Tytans along the Mchinji Road.
Apart from Robert Mkwezalamba, others who were approached were Rev Macdonald Sembereka, Phillip Kamangira and Fyson Chodzi .
